We collect only what we need and protect what we hold.

At Rankwox, we treat your information the way we'd want our own treated: carefully, honestly and only for as long as it's actually useful. This policy explains what we collect when you use rankwox.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at rankwox@gmail.com a real person will answer.

What information we collect

We keep it simple and only ask for what we need:

  • Contact information you share with us. When you fill in a contact form, request a free audit or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you type in, typically your name, email address, phone number and a few details about your business. We use this only to respond to you and to prepare the quote or audit you asked for.
  • Basic analytics data. Like most websites, we use analytics to understand how visitors use our site, which pages are read, how long people stay, what device and browser they're on, and roughly where they're visiting from. This data is aggregated and anonymous; we can't identify you from it, and we don't try to.
  • Information you share during projects. If you become a client, you'll naturally share business details with us, logins, customer data, ad account access, as part of the work. That information stays inside your project and is never reused for anything else.

We don't collect sensitive personal data, and we never buy email lists or contact databases.

How we use your information

Everything we collect goes toward one of these purposes:

  • Replying to your enquiries and preparing audits, quotes and proposals.
  • Delivering the services you've hired us for and reporting on results.
  • Improving our website and content based on how people actually use it.
  • Sending you occasional updates you signed up for, nothing spammy, and you can opt out anytime by replying or emailing us.

We don't use your data to make automated decisions about you, and we don't profile you for advertising.

Cookies

Our site uses a small number of cookies, the tiny files your browser stores to remember preferences and help analytics tools work. We don't use cookies to track you across other websites, and we don't run intrusive advertising trackers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work, though some convenience features may not.

Third party links

Our website links to a few external properties we run and a few we don't:

Each of these has its own privacy policy, and your use of them is governed by those policies, not this one. The same applies to any external site we link to, such as social media platforms, we have no control over how they handle your data, so it's worth reading their policies too.

Data sharing: we don't sell your data

This one is simple: we never sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone. We share data only in these narrow cases: with service providers who help us run the business (such as hosting or email providers) under strict confidentiality, or when the law requires it. That's the entire list.

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry details for as long as the conversation is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back, usually no more than two years. Client project data is kept for the duration of the engagement plus the period we might need it for tax or legal records. When data is no longer needed, we delete it.

Your rights

Your information belongs to you. At any time you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete your data entirely.
  • Stop contacting you for marketing.

Just email rankwox@gmail.com and we'll sort it out, usually within a few working days.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and change the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we'll also flag it on the site so you don't miss it.
